When Google launched the Opensocial initiative, it was clearly stated that the current status is beta. As a prooof, the current version of the API is 0.5.

Hi5 , social network with currently over 60 millions registered accounts and currently #9 in the Alexa Global Top500 , has also opened an Opensocial sandbox. They are part of Google's initiative since launch.
